  13. Does anyone know the initialization string for a 14.4 Viva external fax 
  14. modem.  There is no manual to refer to.  I have it working with a local 
  15. BBS but it does not seem to connect to my Internet provider.  It 
  16. will dial but will not connect.  The string I currently use is

  18. AT&F&C1&D2E1Q0

  20. It is being used on an upgraded 486 with 8 meg ram.
